Fig. 4 is a graphic design festival taking place in Liège and is organized by Loraine Furter, PLMD & Signes du quotidien, in collaboration with Les Brasseurs.
Blank Poster is an online platform where creatives can design and submit posters based solely on the creation description of a randomly generated word. A new random word is generated on blankposter.com each week, which then allows all participants to design their poster. There are no rules or jury, so participants are encouraged to interpret the design brief in their own way. The website is a place where creativity can be exercised without restriction, and the results submitted are very diverse, each person perceiving the word differently. §The Blank Poster project was launched over five years ago. To date, thousands of participants from around the world have participated and submitted more than 13,500 posters. Blank Poster recently published its first book including a selection of more than 700 posters produced by 393 designers from 53 different countries.
